[2] Very-long-instruction word (VLIW) architecture forms the basis of the Crusoe chips. It consists primarily of working general-purpose and floating-point registers and their shadow registers, the executions units, memory, and memory control circuits. The chips have a built-in north bridge, and the TM5400 features LongRun power-management circuitry.
